IN PICTURES: Drivers galore hit the track in Albany for fourth leg of State series and Southern Sprint

Hundreds of competitors hit the track at Albany City Kart Club for its annual Southern Sprint showdown at the weekend. The meeting was the fourth leg of Karting WA’s State Karting Series and had action across three days. Drivers from Albany were up against the best from around WA, in the high-speed spectacular. From young rising stars to experienced veterans, the racing across the 11 divisions was exciting and culminated in Sunday’s all-important finals. Local drivers Alex Hills, Cody Colmer and Ruairidh Avern all walked away with final victories, helping the ACKC to a strong weekend of results.
