Grammy-nominated electronic trio Rufus Du Sol are finally coming home to play for their Australian fans — including a visit to WA.

Off the back of what has been a massive few weeks — they drop their fourth studio album Surrender, debuting at the top of the ARIA charts last week — the band has confirmed a tour around the country.

They finish up at Perth’s Langley Park in December next year before heading up Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide and Melbourne. And the band is promising its best live show yet.

“We’re coming home, finally,” the Sydney-formed band -Tyrone Lindqvist, Jon George and James Hunt said in a statement.

“And we’re bringing the biggest production we’ve ever toured with and we couldn’t be more excited about it.

“We’ve planned four different tours of Australia and New Zealand since 2019 and haven’t been able to announce any of them.

“We wanted to make sure when we announce a show, it’s gonna happen and we are confident this tour is happening and we’re are going to make up for lost time with you all.”

Rufus Du Sol have been travelling around the world playing live gigs for a decade, putting out some of the most recognisable dance tracks in recent years, including bangers such as You Were Right and Like an Animal to the slow-burning nine-minute track Innerbloom.

The group recently played two sold-out shows at the open-air Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado and is gearing up for its biggest headline show to date to more than 70,000 fans over three nights at LA’s Banc of California Stadium next month.

Surrender is proving to be a huge success, have already racked up almost 50 million combined streams across platforms.

Tickets for Rufus Du Sol’s tour go on sale 12pm on Tuesday.
