The original series aired first aired in 1988 and focused on the family of Kevin Arnold, an American middle-class boy growing up between 1968 to 1973

Over the course of its run, the show received a Peabody Award, multiple Humanitas Prizes, four Emmy Awards, and a Golden Globe.
