Share the Dignity celebrates helping vulnerable South West women for 20 years

Share the Dignity is celebrating the 20th year of its annual August Dignity Drive as it works to offer period products to women in need across the South West. The team is also poised to receive its one millionth donation with donation boxes set up at participating businesses, including all Woolworths supermarkets in Busselton and Dunsborough. Supporters can donate unopened period products and incontinence aids to the drive which launched on August 1. According to their Bloody Big Survey recently releases, Share the Dignity found 66 per cent of respondents in Busselton and Dunsborough had faced difficulties due to financial stress when buying period products. Woolworths store manager Rhiannon Jones said her team was proud to continue its partnership with Share the Dignity in supporting another Dignity Drive. “It’s always great to see so many of our Busselton and Dunsborough shoppers get involved with generous donations to help support those in need,” she said. “We might even turn out to be the store that hits the one millionth donation, so thank you to everyone who gets involved.”
