A jogger will spend a second night in hospital after being hit by a bike on the Narrows Bridge in South Perth yesterday morning.

The woman in her 40s was jogging along the shared path in the direction of the David Carr Memorial Park about 11.25am when she and a cyclist collided on the narrow side walk.

She was taken by ambulance to Royal Perth Hospital with serious head injuries, while the man on the back of the bicycle was treated at the scene of the collision.

He received only cuts and bruises.

The woman was today in a stable condition and expected to stay in hospital another night.

Perth Police are investigating the incident and are calling on anyone who saw the collision unfold or has dash-cam vision to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report it online.
