Perth storm causes ember attack from Golden Bay house blaze
Firefighters had to brave last night's wild weather to battle a house fire south of Perth.
The fire started at a home on Yanrey Street, Golden Bay just before midnight.
The storm's wild winds sent embers flying on to two neighouring properties, causing minor damage.
A DFES spokesperson said the home was completely engulfed by the blaze, which caused $400,000 damage.
