David Crothers has been elected as president of the Master Builders Association in Western Australia today replacing outgoing president Jason Kunkler.

Mr Crothers, from Geraldton, has long been active in the construction industry. His business Crothers Construction was started in 1999, and its website states it is the Mid West’s biggest construction company.

Master Builders Association executive director John Gelavis said Mr Crothers brought extensive professional knowledge and a decade of board experience to his new position as president.

Mr Crothers said it was great to see that regional builders, like former president Dan Perkins, are given the opportunity to lead the state body.

“This role comes with a lot of obligations but I’m honoured to be asked to take it on and contribute to the industry,’ he said.
