The Manjimup Repertory Club’s production of the Addams Family musical comedy opened on stage on Friday.

The cast of 20 depicts the extended Addams Family as they are introduced to Wednesday Addams’ love interest – a “normal boy.

In a plot riddled with deception and punctuated by laughs and show tunes, the production is entertaining for young and old.

As the Addams’ attempt to host a “normal” dinner party, the evening becomes anything but.

As each character has their moment, the main cast members each have a scene in which to shine... and they own it.

The show is on again this weekend, with shows on Friday and Saturday from 7.30pm and a finale on Sunday at 1.30pm.
