A young man has been rescued from steep rocks in Perth’s north after falling and dislocating his knee on Saturday night, leaving him trapped and unable to move.
Emergency services were called to a location on Alexandria View in Mindarie about 8.45pm, where three young men are believed to have been fishing off the rocks at the marina.
It is believed one of the young men slipped and fell onto the rocks, dislocating his knee.
Firefighters strapped the patient to a spinal board and winched him over the rocks and into the arms of waiting paramedics.
The teenager was taken to Joondalup Hospital where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
