South West residents want to help conquer cystic fibrosis with a fundraiser next month.

The profits from the outdoor movie night will go to Conquer Cystic Fibrosis South West, which is part of a Statewide effort to boost funding into the research of this disease.

Event organiser Brooke McKitterick organised an outdoor movie night two years ago which attracted more than 600 people.

Ms McKitterick said Conquer Cystic Fibrosis Inc. has the goal of improving, extending and saving the lives of the more than 3000 people with Cystic Fibrosis in Australia and 70,000 worldwide.
