A boy has been seriously hurt after being hit by a car at an Innaloo apartment complex.

The incident happened about 3.45pm when the three-year-old was in the driveway of the complex on Windell Street.

He was hit by a black Mitsubishi Outlander.

The boy was taken by ambulance to Perth Children’s Hospital.

The 31-year-old male driver of the Outlander is assisting police with enquiries.
