Seven West Media cleaned up at the WA Football Media Awards, taking home 14 awards on Tuesday night.

The judges said the story was “a genuine exclusive on one of the biggest football stories of the year that had numerous ramifications for not just football in WA, but in Australia. The award-winning story centres on a WA icon, but becomes so much more as the story goes on”.
