Olympic gold-medallist Usain Bolt has announced he is expecting his first child with long-time girlfriend Kasi Bennett.

The former Jamaican sprinter revealed the news to his 9.3 million Instagram followers alongside a photo of his model girlfriend with the caption: “I just want to say a KING or QUEEN is about to be HERE.”

Bennett, 30, took to her own social media accounts to share the baby news, writing: “Our biggest blessing...Our greatest celebration... Our golden child. Coming soon,” tagging the 33-year-old father-to-be.

Bolt and Bennett have been together since 2014, but the couple only went public in 2016.

Known as the fastest man alive, Bolt retired in 2017 as an eight-time Olympic gold medallist and is widely considered as the greatest sprinter of all time - holding the world record for the 100 metre and 200 metre sprints, respectively.
