
A man has died after hitting his head during a heated altercation in a park in inner-Brisbane’s.
Police allege a Yeronga man, 27, and a West End man, 66, who didn’t know each other became embroiled in an argument at Bunyapa Park near the corner of Thomas St and Vulture St in West End about 12.23am on Sunday.
Police allege the younger man struck the 66-year-old causing him to fall and suffer a serious head injury.

He was rushed to hospital, but died from his injuries.
The 27-year-old was arrested at Fortitude Valley on Sunday evening and has since been charged with unlawful striking causing death and two counts of possessing a dangerous drug.
He was due to appear before the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Monday.
