Albany’s Wellington & Reeves have made a significant donation of $3000 to the St Vincent de Paul branch.

It’s the fourth year the agency has donated, and the funds donated by the real estate agency come from proceeds of sales made in November.

Branch manager and director Kathleen Mier said it’s an opportunity for the Wellington & Reeves team to be able to give back to the Albany community.

“Between myself and another office we just worked out what we could do as a team so that every November we give a donation from a certain percentage of our sales,” she said.

“We’ve raised probably between $8000 and $9000 over the last four years.

“It’s an opportunity for us as a team to be able to help families in need at Christmas time.”

Petrina Andreotti from St Vincent de Paul said the amount donated will greatly benefit the charity branch.

“It was a very generous donation, and we greatly appreciate it,” she said.

“It was great and needed more than ever this year.”
