The cricket community joined forces for a good cause on Saturday, with the fifth edition of Cobba’s Round another big success. Each year, Cobba’s Round is played in honour of Narrikup cricketer Greg “Cobba” Steel who died in 2019. The event was hosted by the Albany and Districts Cricket Association and Narrikup Cricket Club with players and supporters from all clubs coming together after their games to share each other’s company. A strong turnout of people gathered in the North Road pavilion to mingle, enjoy food and drinks and raise money for Beyond Blue. There was also a presentation from senior community educator from The Regional Men’s Health Initiative Terry Melrose, who spoke to those in the room about the importance of discussing their feelings and emotions with family and friends.
