The Indian Ocean Longboard Club will return to competition tomorrow after COVID-19 restrictions forced the cancellation of previous events.

All new members are welcome to attend at a reduced fee with competition starting at 7am.

Indian Ocean Longboard Club president Paul Burke welcomed back all IOLC members, both new and old.

“I’m looking forward to seeing everyone dusting off the cobwebs and enjoying a bit of friendly competition,” he said.

WA Longboard champion Jack Medland is expected to lead the pack with experienced competitor Barry McKinnon and Yall Mal open division winner Anthony Spencer also expected to compete strongly.

Moonshine will be offering longboards to any interested in taking up the sport.
