Man faces court over Pinjarra Caravan Park attack

A 23-year-old man has faced court over allegations he attempted to kill another man during a fight involving a woman at a Pinjarra caravan park.

Rajpreet Singh appeared in Perth Magistrate’s Court today charged with attempting to unlawfully kill, aggravated assault causing bodily harm and making threats to kill over the incident at Pinjarra Caravan Park on Monday morning.

Police allege the 35-year-old victim was assaulted and had to be given CPR by members of the public before being taken by ambulance to Peel Health Campus.

A 20-year-old female victim who was allegedly kicked in the leg during the altercation was taken to Rockingham Hospital.

It is alleged the three people are known to each other.

Mr Singh was remanded in custody to face Stirling Gardens Magistrate’s Court on June 24.
