Shire of Waroona calling for community feedback on proposed development at Lake Clifton

The Shire of Waroona is calling for community feedback on its plans to develop the Lake Clifton Community Reserve.

It is planning to revamp the community area by adding landscaping, BBQs and exercise stations to the reserve.

There are also plans to include new shaded playground areas and upgrades to existing hard courts, giving the community a place to play netball, basketball, badminton and tennis.

The shire said it was aiming to create a place where families, friend and neighbours could gather to enjoy nature while staying active and building memories.

It is seeking input on its plans from the community and has created a short survey to gauge what it would like to see at the reserve.

People who complete it will go into a draw to win one of two $100 vouchers.

The community survey closes on July 8, after which a report will be supplied to the council.

The survey can be completed online, or paper copies are also available for collection at the Shire of Waroona office or can be sent through mail by calling 9733 7800.
