A lucky WA punter is set for life after landing a prize that will deliver $20,000 a month for the next 20 years.

The Division One Set for Life ticket — the only top prize winner nationwide — was sold at Margaret River Newsagency in the South West.

The win is worth a staggering $4.8 million over two decades, handing the mystery ticketholder a steady stream of cash that could transform their future.

It is the second division one win for the newsagency in 2026 after a local scored $741,000 in January and planned a new pool and home upgrades.

Newsagency owner Josh Praed said the latest windfall had staff buzzing.

“I had a feeling when we sold the last one that we might sell another soon — and it happened,” he said.

“It’s great news. Customers get very excited and the staff are keen to see who sold the winning ticket.”

Lotterywest spokeswoman Zoe Wender said the winner could be anyone, with Margaret River packed during the school holidays.

“Whoever they are, this is just the beginning — $20,000 a month for 20 years opens up endless possibilities,” she said.

WA players have another shot at a windfall with a $6 million Saturday Lotto draw up for grabs this weekend.
