The 2022 season came to a close across the board for the Manjimup Rovers Soccer Club last weekend, with high hopes for next season well and truly intact.

In division one, the men’s team had a bye in the final round, finishing in fifth place on the table. Tallon Burns top-scored with 19 goals, and Thomas Anstey found the net 11 times.

The women’s team held a scratch match against Busselton City at Churchill Park, with the home side ensuring Rovers had enough players to fulfil the game.

Rovers supporters were able to enjoy a splendid performance from the club’s under 17 side, who ended their season with a 2-1 win over Dynamos.

Focus now shifts to the club’s awards night on October 9.
