A vehicle breakdown on Kwinana Freeway slowed traffic to a near-standstill as Perth motorists head home on Sunday evening.
The incident was located on the Freeway northbound on Mount Henry Bridge at Salter Point.
The vehicle blocked the right emergency lane of the Freeway, causing congestion on approach to the site.
Main Roads urged motorists to proceed with extreme caution if travelling in the area.
The breakdown has since been cleared.
