Bunbury’s volunteers have been recognised at a morning tea on International Volunteer Day at the Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre. Those from all corners of the South West volunteering scene were present at the event. The theme of the day was “what if everyone did,” focusing on the power of collective action. The event was put on by Volunteering Minister and Bunbury MLA Don Punch who was there to talk to volunteers. He spoke at the event along with Volunteer South West chair Brenda Hamlett.
