Perth traffic: Truck breakdown causes congestion headaches as motorists head towards weekend

A truck breakdown is causing traffic headaches on Kwinana Freeway this afternoon as motorists head towards the weekend, despite being cleared.

Main Roads WA says a truck has pulled over on Kwinana Freeway southbound, at Mill Point Road in South Perth, reported at 1.31pm.

The truck, which appears to be carrying debris and rubble, has been cleared, but traffic is slow on approach, and is causing congestion as of 2.15pm.

Main Roads has reminded motorists to exercise extreme caution when approaching in the area.
