WA Police have located a stolen car following reports that a woman was trying to escape the vehicle on Tuesday.

Police received unconfirmed reports that a woman was trying to escape from a Holden Colorado utility which was stolen from Craigie Leisure Centre about 4.25pm.

A police spokesman said the car was “last seen driving dangerously within the Neerabup and Wanneroo area” before the car was located on Tuesday night.

Police were initially concerned for the car’s occupants before it was found.

More information is expected to be provided on Wednesday morning.
