West Australian Jack Della Maddalena will get his shot on the biggest stage of the MMA world after being announced on the undercard of UFC 270 in California early next year.

Maddalena will be on the preliminary card for the night which will be headlined by a heavyweight title bout Francis N’Gannou against interim-champion Ciryl Gane.

The UFC flyweight championship will also be contested with Brandon Moreno defending against Deiveson Figueiredo.

Maddalena impressed White in his unanimous decision win over Loosa, earning plenty of praise from the mixed martial arts powerhouse.

“All I can say about this fight is wow. It was an unbelievable fight,” White said on the show.

“Jack didn’t just show us a little bit of everything, he showed us a lot of everything.

“No matter where the fight went this kid was really good, he’s got unbelievable head movement, some of the transitions that happened on the ground were unbelievable, he can hit, he’s got a great chin, he’s got unbelievable stamina, he’s only 25 years old and the kid is 10-2.

“I expect big things from this kid.”

Della Maddalena is on a 10-fight win streak after losing the first two bouts of his career.
