The Lower South West Football League is seeking extra umpires to participate in the 2023 football season, which is commencing soon.

The league is prioritising a “strong core of local umpires” for the upcoming season, however they would also be sourcing travelling umpires if necessary.

Umpire coordinator Tristan Mead and umpires coach Jeff Bennett will be teaming up to help coordinate and coach potential umpires once again.

Mead has been umpiring for four years and will coordinate match day appointments and liaise with umpires weekly, while Bennett has umpired for 21 years and represented the State Country Football League on three occasions and will again coach the umpires and continue to mentor and support them.

The Lower South West Football League has asked anyone interested to make contact at lswfl@westnet.com.au.
