Book lovers should be making space on their book shelves for the Shire of Manjimup libraries 2020 book sale.

From January 29 to February 1, the Manjimup library will host the surplus books from across the shire’s various libraries. All money raised from the sale will go back into buying new resources for the libraries, located in Manjimup, Northcliffe, Pemberton and Walpole.

Items on sale will include books, DVDs, audio books, magazines and puzzles and there will be items suited for the whole family, with nothing over $4.

People are welcome to make donations of quality items until January 24.

“Our library book sales have always been incredibly well supported by the community and the funds raised ensure the libraries can continue to grow and improve their collections for the benefit of the community,” the council said.

“It is also an example of recycling at its best.

“Readers can donate their unwanted items to the sale and then purchase new ones, all whilst supporting their local libraries.”
