The Bridgetown Bulldogs have endured a 16-year drought since their last league premiership victory.

However, after finalising a wonderful season with just one loss and a fighting team effort semi-final win, they are in good shape to claim the major prize of the 2019 Lower South West Football League season.

With a home ground advantage in front of an anticipated loud and strong crowd, the Bulldogs will go up against an in-form Deanmill outfit which – although not threatening the Bulldogs all year – is on a definite roll.

LSWFL leading goalkicker Jordan Jupp will have a huge bearing on the outcome of the contest, with his contributions pivotal to the Bulldogs.

To add to Jupp’s presence up forward, Brett Wilson and Rodney Jetta will also help test the dynamic Deanmill defensive unit.

Craig Wulff was at his best in the semi-final and will provide the Bulldogs with plenty of drive, alongside Tyrepower medallist Hugh Mitchell.

The Bulldogs’ defensive unit remains a tight knit formation, with Nathan Introvigne, Callum Jupp, Jordon Engle, Jack Fielder and Dylan McKay all consistent performers.

Deanmill’s defensive unit, with Brettney East, Blake East and Connor and Josh De Campo, is in superb form and their dash from the backline set up the weekend’s victory.

To further Deanmill’s chances, their forward structure has hit their straps at the right time of the season with Jaxon East, Brett Giblett, David Fall and Rory Sparks all in magnificent form.

Deanmill’s midfield play has also lifted with Courtney East, Brodie Reeve, Riley Hutchinson and Troy Wells ready to challenge the might of the Bulldogs’ engine room.
