Bridgetown’s Community Resource Centre has opened entries for its annual calendar competition.

Manager John Nicholas said they were looking for pictures that captured typical Bridgetown scenery.

“We try to judge the photographs on their uniqueness,” he said.

“The process we run through, we tend to run through anything up to 40 or 50 people that come to the CRC to have a look at the photographs and they rate them in terms of what they believe is a really nice photo for a calendar.

“That includes all of our staff here and a whole range of people who might visit the CRC.”

The centre will then select the 13 photos for the 2021 calendar. “The quality generally is very, very good,” Mr Nicholas said.

There are prizes available for winners, but there is a cap of two photos a single entrant can have in the calendar and a cap on four entries per participant.

Entries close on July 31 and entries can be emailed to the CRC or submitted in person.
