Club returns with murder mystery humour
Manjimup Repertory Club returns for its first 2019 production with Who did you say you were?
Performed over two weekends this month, the show is a comedy which follows the growing confusion of people who have gone away for a murder mystery weekend.
Plagued by a secret that affects his confidence in his aptitude for his job, Det. Insp. Geoff Crosswell is hoping the murder mystery will show he can solve murders on his own merit.
Meanwhile, his girlfriend Det. Sgt Sue Gardiner is peeved that Geoff has taken her away to solve more murders, however fictitious they are.

All the while, Mrs Beaumont is trying to drag her husband away from his work life and poor Lizzie, the host of the event, is just trying to keep people on track.
The production has a cast of 10 and is directed by Jono Rose.
“I liked the script, it was nice and fast, with lots of comic lines,” he said.
“It was a good opportunity to do an all-adult show.”
The production will be held from 7.30pm on June 21, 22 and 28 and 2pm on June 23 and 29.
