Whether you want to get groovy or prefer your tunes a little more western, there will be something for everyone at Manjimup’s newest live music venue this weekend.

Country music artist Sally Jane and blues singer Mark Turner will headline a massive three days at Gatsbys Skyline, following the cabaret speakeasy’s launch recently.

Jane, who was in 2020 named the WA Country Music Awards People’s Choice, will be performing for one night only this Friday with supporting act Al Mac,

The young artist said the audience can expect an show full of engagement and excitement when she performs, with songs including You & I and Kiss You When the Rain Comes.

“I talk to the audience during my show and tell stories throughout,” she said.

Jane also said the crowd could expect a variety of different songs from her across her signature country sound.

“I’ll be playing my original songs, along with some covers of pop and rock songs as well,” he said.

Turner is also an emerging name in the WA music industry, with the blues, folk, soul and groove artist booked out across clubs, pubs and functions in recent years.

The singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, who has twice nominated for a WAMi Song of the Year, said his two shows across Saturday and Sunday would both have very different approaches.

“The Saturday night show will be more kicking it into gear and having a party, while Sunday will be more of an acoustic, almost gospel church kind of show,” he said.

Turner said there will be something for all attending either show over the weekend.

“I would say expect an evening of grooving and moving because I just want everyone there to have a great time.”

Tickets can be purchased on the Gatsbys Skyline website or each artist’s respective page.
