After a long off-season, the Tyrepower Manjimup Speedway has a big season planned for the summer months, headlined by the WA Wingless Sprint Title in March. The season will kick off on October 30 with a day meeting, which has become a favourite event in recent years to start the season. The Super Sedan Summer Series and Wingless Sprints will feature in the day’s racing, with Wingless Sprints having their one and only race before their State Title at the venue — sedans will also be a part of the program. Sprintcars will return on November 27 for the Limited Sprintcar Series, which will be joined by the popular South West Sedan Championship with lots of entries expected at the event. To celebrate the New Year, the Tyrepower Manjimup Speedway is the place to be on January 2, for the annual Street Stock Stampede and Production Sedan feature. Modified Sedans return to the venue on February 5 after a few years away. The final event for the season is scheduled for March 26, with the WA Wingless Sprint Title returning to the venue for the second time in its history. More than 30 Wingless Sprints took part when the event was last held in Manjimup, and expect the same again in 2022. Sedans will feature at all events, with plenty of locals ready and raring to take on the visitors at their home track.
