Residents are being encouraged to complete a survey on an app – which provides users with council updates and other information relevant to the region – for a chance to win grocery or fuel vouchers.

Antenno is a local government app designed to provide residents, ratepayers, visitors and investors with up to date information.

The council launched the app in July and it has been “well embraced,” Manjimup shire president Paul Omodei said.

The survey asks a range of questions but also allows participants to provide feedback about the app.

The survey also asks participants if they would like to attend a workshop on using Antenno. If there are enough positive responses the council will run a workshop in January.

“The type of information being released includes shire announcements, planned road closures or roadworks, upcoming shire approved events, rubbish and recycling reminders and more,” Cr Omodei said.

A link to the survey has been posted on Antenno and participants who meet the terms and conditions of the prize will go into the draw to win one of three totalling $1000.

The survey closes at 4pm on December 11.
