The 2023 Balingup Medieval Carnivale was in full swing over the weekend as more than 10,000 people attended the two-day festival, with plenty of activities and stalls surrounding the Balingup Community Grounds.
Businesses including Wandering Fox, the Blackwood Dungeons and Dragons Winterfest and the Shamrock Hotel in Greenbushes, were some of the vendors seen around the grounds, as well as other shops selling different bespoke wares, souvenirs and food for hungry adventurers to enjoy.
Saturday night had crowds anticipating the Burning of the Dragon ceremony, which included performances from the Wasamba Carnival Drummers and the Pyro Panthers before Fireblight the Dragon was set ablaze, sending a roaring flame into the sky.
