The Manjimup Timber and Heritage Park will be filled with Christmas joy on Sunday as the community gathers for festive fun and carols.

The annual Christmas in the Park will begin at 4pm followed by Carols by Candlelight at 7.30pm.

The free event, put on by combined churches of Manjimup, will include a sausage sizzle, a bouncy castle, face painting, a climbing wall, popcorn, fairy floss and more.

Parents will also be treated to a Devonshire tea.

Committee member Rory Percival said the churches organised the event as a gift to the community.

“Often people are busy around this time of the year, so it’s good to have a chance to slow down and enjoy some time with friends and family,” he said.

“Everyone in the community is invited to come along and it’s all free.

“We’ll have candles for sale but people are welcome to bring their own.”
