About 70 people gathered at Manjimup’s Tall Timbers Brewery to celebrate the end of 2021 and ring in the new year. The event was headlined by Perth-based DJ Nathan Young, better known by his stage name N-Trick. The traveling performer said the night was an “unforgettable” way to go into the new year and it was “wonderful” to see so many turn out for the event. “Manjimup Tall Timber’s New Year’s Eve event was a unique and unforgettable transition into the year of 2022,” he said. “It was wonderful to see a mixed crowd of young and old partygoers, bonding over music ranging from the 80s to current hits.” Young said the Lower South West town had great potential as a booming social spot in the future. “I view Manjimup as a town that has a large potential of growth in the nightlife industry,” he said. “Personally, I have grown very fond of the town itself, the people who work under the Tall Timbers establishment and the ongoing support of the Manjimup locals who make an effort to watch me play in the Manjimup Brewery.” Young said he was excited as to what the new year held for both himself and Manjimup and he looked forward to performing down South again.
