WA Police have confirmed this morning the group of walkers who went missing yesterday in the Greater Beedelup National Park near Pemberton have been found safe and well.

The group consisting of a 61-year-old male, a 37-year-old male, a 10-year-old male and two six-year-olds went missing yesterday afternoon after they failed to meet up with the rest of their walking group.

Police said the missing group had split up, with half of them found by Parks and Wildlife officers near the intersection of Carey Road and the Bibbulmun Track around 4pm.

Officers then found the rest of the group shortly after and took everyone back to the Pemberton Police Station where it was confirmed there were no major injuries.

It is believed the missing group had simply got lost along their walk.
