Queen’s Baton Relay is on its way

The Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games Queen’s Baton Relay, due to arrive in Manjimup on February 22, made its first major Australian public appearance at the MCG on Boxing Day.

Residents Patricia Martin and John Ryan are included in a group of 3800 baton-bearers who have been selected to carry the baton across the country in the lead-up to the Commonwealth Games.

The relay will begin on January 25 in Canberra, while the games are scheduled to open on the Gold Coast on April 4.
