Northcliffe District High School students took to the stage last week to show off their acting and singing talent.
On Wednesday and Thursday, students performed Dragon Girl, a two-act musical fantasy that follows the story of Anna, who finds herself in a new land due to a magical stone.
Students from different year levels were involved in the production, from junior to upper school.

Anna was played by Rylee Bennett and other stand out performances included Amara Sinclair-Hill, Poppy Schiano DiCola and Torston Vodesil, who played Zardock, Queen Daphne and Sir Basil of Hawthorn.
It was wonderful to see students be brave by talking part in a stage production and they should all be proud of themselves.
The story itself was well-suited for a school production and gave each student time to shine in their character.

In the story, once Anna finds herself in a magical world, she has to join forces with a group of locals to stop the Dragon and Sir Basil.
Kudos also needs to be given to the behind-the-scenes crew, who provided amazing stage effects and lighting.
