The Warren-Blackwood Bombers announced their intent to win the flag after a resounding victory over the Busselton Magpies, 8.4 (52) to 1.1 (7) in the second semi-final of the South West Junior Football League. The game started off in usual fashion for the Bombers with Holly Gill dominating the ruck and knocking it down to the Warren-Blackwood midfielders, who quickly moved the ball forward. From there, the ball was pinned in their forward 50 and anytime the Busselton players would clear the ball, it landed in the arms of a Bombers player. Not only was the Bombers attack on fire, the defensive unit did well to smother any Busselton offensives before real damage could be done. Goal kickers for the Bombers included Sophie Scott and Kiara Little with two each and Tegan Ellis, Shirley Pickett, Payten Della and Mackayla Lowe with one. The win by the Warren-Blackwood side put them through to the grand final but they will not know who their opponent will be until after the two rounds of preliminary finals.
