A crash on Orrong Road southbound has blocked a lane as motorists head home during peak hour on Wednesday.

The crash, located at Alexander Drive in Welshpool was reported by Main Roads at 5.03pm.

The crash has since been cleared, but traffic remains slow on approach.

Earlier, a crash on Roe Highway southbound reduced the major Perth road to a single lane.

The crash — located at Willeri Drive in Canning Vale — was reported by Main Roads at 3.47pm.

The crash has since been cleared.

A breakdown also caused congestion on the Tonkin Highway northbound exit to Dunreath Drive in Redcliffe.

Reported at 4.06pm, the breakdown blocked the left lane of the exit, causing heavy traffic.

The incident has since been cleared.
