In pictures: Social dancing group raises $3500 for flying doctors through Blush and Berry Ball on Saturday

The Manjimup Town Hall was filled with ballroom dancers on Saturday night when the Social Dancing Group hosted their Blush and Berry on Rose Ball to raise funds for the Royal Flying Doctors Service.
The event raised $3500 for the RFDS, with more than 85 dancers attending to participate in more than 20 dances, including the Galaxy Rumba, Lucille Waltz, Mayfair Quickstep and two different medley dances.
Ball organiser Tony Magenta said the event received positive feedback from attendees with everyone dressed in a “spectacular” fashion.
“The music went well and (there was) heaps of food, and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves,” he said.
“We got a lot of compliments on the music and the food, and the ladies looked spectacular in their gowns and the men didn’t look too bad either.”
He said the ball allowed those wanting to put on their dancing shoes to show off their outfits — and their dance moves.
“It’s a highlight in the year and allows to show off what we do,” Mr Magenta said.
“It also allows people to dress up in their gowns and suits, and have their own special ball.”
