The annual Jazz in the Jarrah event will officially return in February, raising money for the Royal Flying Doctor Service and Manjimup Lions Club charities. The free concert is put on every year by the Manjimup Lions for all ages. The concert will return to the Sandra Donnovan Sound Shell in the Heritage Park in Manjimup on February 4, featuring talented Western Australian bands, the Australian Army Band Perth and Skeleton Crew. Audiences can expect to enjoy swing, jive and rock and roll under a romantic starlit sky. Manjimup Lions Club president Paddy Pemberton said the club was really looking forward to “getting the show on the road”. “It’ll be a lovely evening with good live jazz as the sun goes down,” he said. “Put it in your diary, reserve a space in your calendars and come along for the amazing experience at our wonderful heritage park where families are welcome, food is available and you can dance along under the stars.” Music starts at 5pm.
