My Kitchen Rules stars Jordan and Anna Bruno to host masterclass at Manjimup Truffle and Wine Festival

The mother-and-son cooking duo who shot to reality fame after an impressive stint on My Kitchen Rules are slicing and dicing their way to the Lower South West for the region’s latest culinary showcase. Jordan and Anna Bruno have been unveiled as special guests at the new Manjimup Truffle and Wine Festival, where they will hold a masterclass to teach foodies how to make delicious meals from scratch. Homemade pasta, truffle fettucine and ravioli are all on the menu for the dynamic pair, who finished in third place on the popular show’s seventh season in 2016. Jordan, 28, has stayed in the headlines for his culinary ventures and queer rights activism since appearing on the program and was even crowned Mr Gay World in 2018. He said food was his “love language” that was still how he showed love today. “Growing up I can remember being in awe of chefs like Nigella Lawson, Jamie Oliver and Anthony Bourdain who had such an ability to connect and inspire people through food,” he said. “There was no doubt in my mind that this passion to inspire and feed people was distilled in me too and it was exactly what I was going to spend my life doing.” Manjimup Truffle and Wine Festival will include truffle tours, gourmet degustation dinners, truffle hunts and farm visits as well as wine tasting masterclasses between June 24 and 26, with other guests including Alistair McLeod and Laura Sharrad.
