The Cyclones had a successful match against the Leopards when they went head-to-head on Tuesday in Bridgetown, winning by 24 points. The Cyclones scored 45 points in their Tuesday match-up at the Bridgetown Recreation Centre when they went up against the Leopards, who had a close loss in the previous round and were eager to get back up on their feet. Both teams put on their best game, with both teams having many goal-scoring opportunities throughout the match and keeping each other on their toes with constant possession changes and defence work. However, the Cyclones were able to get ahead of the Leopards by the time the final siren rang to win 45-21. Cyclones’ Emily Millar was the highest scoring player of the game with 16 goals, with her teammates Lacey Holdsworth and Caitlyn Wheatley also scoring impressively with 11 and 8 goals, respectively. In the other women’s matches, Boyup Brook beat Saints Womens 26-13, while Sharks won by default as Hazbeenz forfeited prior to their match. In the men’s matches, Royals beat Blackballers 52-21, Warriors won against Lions 78-29, Mixtape beat Braves 29-24 and Cyclones won over Wolves 53-23.
