Country singer-songwriter Brian Cadd to play Manjimup’s Gatsbys Skyline for first time

Australian country artist Brian Cadd will be heading to Manjimup later this month to play at Gatsbys Skyline for the first time. The singer-songwriter will take to the stage on July 21, where he will play his best hits along with new tracks from his latest record Dream Train. Cadd said he was excited to visit his beloved Manjimup for the Dream Train tour. “I’m so excited about that, mostly because I come from Perth and Manjimup — if you were lucky to go down for a holiday, it was a fabulous place to go,” he said. “It is a really wonderful thing to play in WA because it has so many good memories of my youth. “To head down south is beautiful and my father was born down that way, so it’s connecting the dots for me.” The tour begun in NSW earlier this year and took in Adelaide a few weeks ago. Cadd said he was enjoying playing his new tracks live and hoped audiences would too. “My favourite song (from Dream Train) is The One That Got Away, simply because I enjoy the song and to sing it,” he said. “I’m in a position where I want to play and enjoy the hits, so a lot of the show will be what people know. “We’re a bit nuts and we have a lot of fun, but there’s some pretty amazing players playing (in my band).”
