Gary Hutch and Robyn Kristoffersson named winners of 23rd Kristofferson Cup

Competitors from all over the country were greeted with hot conditions in the 23rd Kristofferson Cup over the weekend and Friday’s 4BBB Stableford.

The weekend had the hottest weather the tournament had ever faced, with 40-degree weather on Friday and Saturday, with water bottles being donated by both Coles and Woolworths to keep players hydrated during the games.

On Sunday, Gary Hutch was named the men’s winner with 77 points, winning the trophy and a Jarrah hall table by sponsor Kristoffersson Furniture, while Eric Cain was named the runner-up with 75 points.

Brad DeCampo was third with 73, Len Lane was fourth with 72, and Michael Longbottom and Craig McSweeney finished fifth and sixth respectively on 71 points.

Robyn Kristofferson was the women’s overall winner with 75 points, while Lesley Wiles came in second place on 70 points.

Dee Devenish and Kerry DeCampo placed third and fourth respectively with 69 points, while Sandra Dean came in fifth place with 68 points.

Evan Sewell was named the men’s gross winner on 67 points while Marion Hutch was named the women’s gross winner with 50 points.
