It was a packed house at the Mantra Bunbury Lighthouse on Saturday night as the region’s rising sporting stars were honoured.
The South West Academy of Sport held its annual awards and dinner night, with athletes, their families and special guests in attendance.
There was plenty of mingling at the event while the talent of the region’s young athletes was recognised.
Lauren Rowe was the major winner of the night, taking out the 2023 SWAS Sports Star of the Year Award, while Andrew Longmore was honoured as the 2023 Wally Foreman Coach of the Year.
