MNA: Comets beat Aztecs by 14 points in Monday night match

After a lengthy break in the competition, the Comets have beaten Aztecs by 14 points when the two teams went head-to-head on Monday night at the Manjimup Indoor Sport Pavilion. The match-up marked the first round back on the court after two weeks of poor weather conditions putting the Manjimup Netball Association’s senior competition on hold. In the second quarter, Aztecs narrowed the margin and by the half-time break Comets led by just six points, 28-22. After the break Comets were unable to further extend their lead, but dominated throughout the final term and secured victory with a final score of 59-45. In the other games, Brace Yourself defeated Astrix 38-29, and Cosmos took down Magpies 45-33.
